It's a bit pricy - if your favorite meal is Home Depot. It is also product that has been released after being correctly designed. I liked it so well that I removed it from our house in Southern California and brought it with us to our new location in South Carolina. And, when I replace the whimpy hose support in the back, I will support this company again. Apparently the master decider has not yet learned of planned obsolescence.
This company I find to be the exception in that they have various choices of a great product. Tom

I am so glad I bought 2! I struggled with the plastic hose reels from Home Depot as well. Luckily Home Depot gave me a refund with out a problem. This reel is the best, it was easy to install and is simple to use. It is also easy to switch it to be used for a lefty, all you do is put the reel in the bracket with the handle on the left side. You can also remove the reel from the bracket to store it inside in the winter months and it is very easy to keep clean. Another nice feature is that these reels come in a variety of colors. I got a black one for the front of my house which is dark brick and I got a white one for the back of the house which is white. It blends in so nicely and the finish is brilliant and shiny. Now they should make coordinating garden hoses :) The quality of this reel also can't be beat. It is solid and sturdy, I can't imagine ever needing another. The amazon price is also excellent. I had paid $40+ tax for the junky plastic reel I bought at Home Depot at $99 this one is a great value, no tax and free shipping. Highly recommended!
