5.0 out of 5 stars Great Learning Tool
I am a Registered Nurse in a long term care facility. Several Nurses Aides on my staff are in Nursing School and one of them bought this book from Amazon. I was blown away by the wealth of information, easy access, learning tools (the overlays are amazing) and color graphics. All of the nursing students ordered the book and so did I. 3.0 out of 5 stars Rapid Review: Anatomy Reference Guide: A Guide for Self Testing and Memorization
The book seemed helpful at first but for what I needed it for it was too much information. It may come in handy for the next AP class I have.

Just started anatomy and physiology one. This book is making it bearable. i love this book. everything is labeled on a clear page that goes over the actual part of the body. therefore it makes studying a breeze because you put numbers on a piece of paper and then you try to label them. after your done you flip the clear page and see what you got right and what you need to work on. awesome!!!!

Wow! I purchased this product to go in the office to help with patient explanations. I wish I had known about it in school! It is great and compact. I highly recommend it for students of medicine or nursing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who need a text book???, May 23, 2007
This review is from: Rapid Review: Anatomy Reference Guide (Spiral-bound)
Looking back on all of my anatomy classes, I wish that my professor would have had us buy this book instead of the assigned $200+ books. This little book has all that I would have needed. I mainly used my $200+ book for the picture anyway! This book has great pictures and informative descriptions - without any of the extra filler stuff that my text book had. This is really a great buy!!!

This book is great. But even more than that I did have a problem with the first copy I recieved. I contacted Amazon and they told me to send the defective one back and they would send me a new one. I assumed they would send it once they recieved the other one, but I got my replacement within two days of contacting them. I was very impressed and greatly appreciative!!

I was looking for transparencies of the various structures (muscles, nerves, arteries/veins). The transparencies it does have are similar to flash cards intended for students to prepare for exams, rather than someone (a martial artist), looking for an explanation of how traditional Chinese medicine body charts (accupressure/accupuncture), correspond to the actual anatomical structures.
