This product is garbage. First one I received was defective and did not charge my 3G Ipod, but instead like some other people have said, drained my battery to the point my ipod would not even turn on. Second one I received as a replacement did the same exact thing. Lesson learned for me so next potential buyer beware.

Well the charger arrived here (via usps >:0) on August 22, 2006, so I test it out for the first time. I plugged the thing into the wall and it burned out! There was a big bright orange spark and that was the end!

It's a great charger for the price, no complaints. Works with 220 volts. It doesn't feel cheap for me and works with my iPod mini, nano and iPod video

i plugged it in, and 3 seconds later, the thing POPS! sparks blew off inside of the transformer piece. its completely shot now.

DO NOT BUY!

You can't beat the price and the service. The product works great and I have had no problems.

Personally, I think Apple should be including one of these babies with every player. But since that doesnt appear to be happing, I got this. Maybe I am just too much of an ipod addict or something but this has become my new best friend. I mean seriously before this whenever I went on a trip my options were drag my 5 pound laptop (plus laptop power cord and USB connector cable) or ration ipod time since I knew the dreaded "no battery life remaining" screen was looming. So great for travel but also great for home cause I don't have to turn on the computer everytime I wanna boost and it charges much faster than the USB. Long story short: this makes my nano happy thus makes me happy.

True it is a partial bargain. But honestly don't waste your money on this, it's a piece of crap. Though it does charge the ipod it takes roughly 12 hours for my 60gig video to get 3/4 full battery. Just buy the one from apple.

great charger and great price...but what's up w/shipping & delievery? i read all the reviews and concluded - before charging your ipod using this charger, plug it in first then plug ipod. to remove, unplug ipod then unplug charger from outlet....this process works and so far no problems...

The charger is doing it's job and you can't beat the price. It is pretty poor quality and my LED light has never worked, but it beats paying $30 for one from Apple and as long as it charges my nano I'm happy.

I had one of these because I was too cheap. :( It toasted my iPod on the first charge. If you are lucky, you may get one that works. If not...
