It is a pretty good device which charges the Ipod touch much faster than can a computer. The good thing is one doesn't have to switch on a computer every time to charge, like using a cellphone charger. Of course it has the same important advantage during travel.

I have owned this charger for my iPod Touch since March. It does its job and has yet to overload or burn up any of our iPods. My one complaint is the length of the cord. The cord is just long enough, for example, to set it on your nightstand (with the wall outlet directly behind the nightstand), but not long enough to pick it up and use it in bed.

My only complaint with this is that the cord is just too short. The picture shown here is a LOT longer than my actual cord. It barely reaches a table or desk when plugged in, and I struggle to balance it some place safe. Other than that is it a pretty simple straightforward charger, so not much to say about it unless of course it suddenly stops working.

It does the job. Cheaper than Apples wall wart. I still prefer charging my pod through my Mac, but when the my Mac isn't available, this item will perform.

I bought this product because I was tired of having to charge my iPod from my computer, especially at night. I would have to leave my laptop on all night, which created annoying bright green lights (two of them). Having read reviews of this product, I knew I would have to buy a 3-foot extension cord, and did (that is why this is a 4 star, not a 5 star review). It's true that the Gomatic has a bright green light of its own, but this is easily covered with a pair of socks or anything else that might be lying next to your bed. The Gomatic makes it possible for me to read e-books (main use of my iPod) anywhere there is an outlet -- great alternative to year-old magazines in the doctor's office!

Would like to have known that this is a wall/AC charger with an "adapter" to fit IPod Touch. Not made specifically for IPod.

We Have received a charger by you that is not compatible with I-Pod touch
touch 2nd Generation. We have written a couple of e-mails to correct this problem. But amazon and the company that makes it, has not responded to the e-mails. Imagine that, I feel like another Sucker ROBBED of 17 DOLLARS. By the way this has been going on for 2 months. I'm giving up and I would watch any products you buy from amazon.
