Basic and simple charger that is small enough to not take up too much room when traveling, which makes it a perfect addition/accessory to the reader. It is very convienent just to use the charger
Charges fairly quickly and so far very happy with it on the couple of trips I have takeen it on due to its size.

Great item and hard to find. Beats trying to charge with the USB cable attached to a computer (if the computer goes into sleep mode while your reader is attached, it will start to have the reverse effect and it will drain the reader instead of charging it!). This wall plug is 5.2 volts, which is what the reader needs. I've tried recharging my reader with a 5v cell phone connector - no dice. Get this and you will be happy.
