4.0 out of 5 stars Mac Dre: Still doin' dope
Mac Dre's latest is dope. However, I was expecting something a little tighter. I guess I still wish for the days of him and Khayree. Mac Dre's production is alright. I personally prefer Khayree's production. Anyway, MD still can hold his own and definitely doesn't disappoint. Mac Dre still spits more game than anybody else. A good album and worth picking up.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Mac Dre's Best Work, But It's A Fair Production.
I feel that this production of Mac Dre's was a decent one. However I also feel he has released some better work. A favorite of mine has always been Stupid Doo Doo Dumb. I would also like to state that the track "Nothing Correctable" was a masterpiece. I would like to hear a little more heartfelt work like that from Mac Dre in the future.

As usuall Md comes with another CLASSIC cd. The production is on point and Mac dre comes back with the flow to make it a classic albulm. There is an all-star line up with guests such as The Cutthoat Comitte, Lil Bruce, Harm, Big Lurch(hope he doin alright), and even some LA cats like Warren G, and Kokane. The two singles off here "Rapper Gone Bad" and "Fire", are slappin and have music videos although they aint on this cd, so YEAH GO BUY IT. HIghly Recomended, THIZZ IZ WAT IT IZ

5.0 out of 5 stars rapper gone bad, March 5, 2005

This album right here really surprised me! The first mac dre album I ever bought was the rompalation vol. 1.. I fell in love with that album immediately. When I got this one it was the first solo mac dre album and it was probably the best cd I've ever spent money on at that time.. When the intro to "I'VE BEEN DOWN" comes on then he breaks it down on what it must feel like to be locked up in the pen. He's just a real one boy and I learned that when I copped this album. He also destroys Mac Mall on his song "MAC STABBER". He's always come through with some witty lyrics over some ridiculously tight beats and this album is certainly no exception. You ain't gonna crush a grape in Napa Valley with golf shoes on!!!! YADADAMEAN

ALL YOU THAT ARE DISSING THIS ALBUM OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOUR TALKIN ABOUT. THIS ALBUM IS JUST AS GOOD QUALITY AS ALL HIS OTHER ALBUMS AND IN MY MIND MAYBE A LITTLE BETTER. NAME ANOTHER ALBUM THAT'S BETTER THIS YEAR. THE RAP GAME IS WEAK AND MD MAY BE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S STILL SPITTIN THAT CRESTSIDE S**T

2.0 out of 5 stars Isn't this a solo?, October 24, 1999

This review is from: Rapper Gone Bad (Audio CD)
I am a big Mac Dre fan, but this cd isn't up to the level I expect from him. Too many guest spots and not enough of MD himself (for my tastes at least) still its better than 90% of releases this year, which really isn't saying too much considering lame artists ruling rap at this time.
