Good single, one great mix.,
This review is from: Rapture (8 Mixes) (Audio CD)
You've surely heard this by now, as it's one of the tastiest vocal tracks of the past year. Iio are New York-based duo Mark Moser and Nadia, the 18-year old siren who provides the captivating touch to this piece o' twilight magic. This disc has eight cuts, the original being a rather likeable pop tart but not meeting the needs of her sultry voice. Which is why there are remixes, and the top would be Creamer and Stephan K's; a smoky, slow affair for the senses. Wrapped in delay and insistent key lines, it's a masterful rebuild - undeniably sexy - that sustains a full ten minutes. The Riva remix proves a thorough melodic trance makeover with strains of Sasha-like production. Also packed in are two Deep Dish versions that split the difference of the original and Creamer/K mix. Spaced out and tribal, more hypnotic than mesmerizing, these seem aimed for playing out more so than on home systems. Aloud stir in soul and disco sheen that certainly makes for a distinctive listen if not a rewind. Only Soulside disappoint with a thousand-times over ambient trance re-tread for the chillout compilation factory farm. Bottom line, casual fans can easily get by with the other cd-single packages out there touting the Creamer/Stephan K mix, but this 8-track version certainly will please the Rapture enchanted.

One .... Of a Sinle and Lot of Great ReMixes!!!,

Words can not expalin how this single domminated every night club & every country. Am Just gonna give a little bio on the remixes the CD-single has.1. Radio Edit 3:11 - Soft Energetic Great and very nicely worked, of the hook vocals with not a single mistake to this song. Edit by the Original Extended. 2. Original Extended 6:46 - .... at the begining, but more soft and relaxing in the middle of the song with beautiful lyrics and a enchansing lalalaal lalalal lalalal to it. worked and done nicly. if you listen closly it was a lyric that was not added to the Radio Edit it gose "since we connect behind close doors, Spaks fire even more, No telling were we will be next surender to your Rapture arrest, lay your head as the slumber flows" and some other verce. 3. Cremer & Stephan K. 9:52 - Nothing personal but frankly pretty bad, I mean it is so slow and not what the dance floor needs. The good thing about it its that you hear Nadia Ali's vocal echo and whisper some parts in this remix and yet, this remix sounds like a slow smokey affair typ of song. 4. Deep Dish Miami Dub 12:29 - A dark feeling sensation to it, with a mistry sound to it very slow and yet poundering. This remix is totally amazing Deep Dish worked them self again with a good remix that will leav you tunded in. 5. Deep Dish Space Remix 10:49 - The remix title says it all, "SPACE REMIX" key Word Space, is has no vocals not even an echo or whisper to it. Its just plain music that leavs you mindless. 6. Riva Remix 7:37 - This is a wonderful remix that has lots of energy to it very , very, very powerful, is also very agresive and very possesive, that will leav you asking for more & more. 7. Aloud Remix 5:52 - This remix is pretty good at the begining then the rest is wonderful its all mixed up with words and lyrics and has a male vocal saying "Mission Complete". Its like they got the Radio Edit and Mixed all the vocals together. 8. Soulside Remix 6:37 - Thsi remix is more of an accaple but with a meledi so good and it just gives you a warm feeling all over and U can hear and understand everyword she is saying. This Single is the main one this is a collection of all there remixes. this single is the one they get remixes and add them to other import titles.

Get caught in the Rapture that is soooooo sweet!,

This one is definitely for fans of Terra Skye(Is This Love?), Kim Sozzi(Feelin' Me), or Flow(True Feelings of Love). Really, if you like trance that has hot female-vocals then you will probably dig this. For a while I thought they were called Lio/Leo, until I saw the cover. I was very happy with the amount of remixes, for the price, included on this single. Plus, it includes remixes that are exclusively from the 12" pressing. All of the remixes are smokin'! Especially, the Creamer & Stephanie K mixes as well as the Deep Dish Space remix. All of them seem to be the perfect length. The lyrics go something like "Sugar you make my soul complete, Rapture tastes sooooooo sweet" and I don't find them to be cheesy or too repetitive at all. The vocals are very heavenly. This label Ministry of Sound been coming up with some strong talent as of late, and iio is another winner. This single is highly recommended for DJ's by Funkwax. Give it a listen, and I'm sure you will agree that this has the potential to be the blow-up of the Winter! If my review was helpful to you, then don't forget to vote. THANKS!

Simply Delightful,

I first heard tune in summer 2001 and ever since then I couldn't get enough of it. Back then, the project name was "Vaiio". Then it evolved to "Aiio" and finally "Iio." Off the hook vocals, massive bass coming through the speakers, add in the perfect tempo and we got ourselves the best dance tune of 2001 in my opinion (Rui Da Silva & Cassandra's Touch Me run a close 2nd). The John Creamer & Stephan K mix to me took too long to develop the mood. The Riva mix is excellent on the dance floor so is the Deep Dish mix depending on the crowd. If you don't have it, get it. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you check out Paul Van Dyk's remix on his Politics of Dancing compilation. God bless MoS, Nadia (vocals), and Markus Moser (producer).

Best mix by far is Stephane K and Cramer's (so sweet)I have no idea why people knock this mix, its such a deep/tech house mix. Lots of delays and dark sounding pads and the perfect record to jump from house to trance, If you're mixing right.

big room tune,

When i first heard this tune it was on the radio, The airplay in the UK has been the original mix edit: which frankly is pretty [bad]. On the other hand the John Creamer & Stephane K Mix is sooooo cool. On First hearing it sounds quite boring, but it gets right into your head, when i heard it on a big sound system :MOS, it was apparent how cool it was, the single note riff's that create harsh and soft tones, laced with reverb, this really is the only mix worth listning too, although having said that the riva mix is good too but doesn't have the lasting appeal.

The vocals are incredible, although the original tune's music doesn't do them justice however. The Riva, Paul Van Dyk & Armin Van Buuren mixes are what make this song shine. Get them if you can.

....tastes so sweet...or something similarly cheesy.,
This review is from: Rapture (8 Mixes) (Audio CD)
this track. ooh, what to say. the progressive mixes[ from creamer and deep dish] have sultry vocals that WILL seduce you when the right DJ molds the track like clay into a set.the original, however...is squeaky and annoying, and i was very, very surprised that the ORIGINAL TRACK is THAT bad. but if you like your progressive deep and lush, with gorgeous female vocals and lyrics that really are meaningful, pick this up for the remixes.

This tune is simply amazing, it lifts you up no matter in what mood you are, where you are, what you do!!! Only this track is played few times by the DJs at party. The vocal is great. My favourite remix is the one by Deep Dish, it turns on the best. The Riva mix is great too, more emotional than the rest. This record worths buying more than any other record this time.

Excellent track, beautiful and an unique singer. Great remixes especially the riva one. A must have CD for your collection. I can safely say that Nadia Ali is the best club singer! her voice is just amazing. very moody. will make you groove. Check out "At the End" too.
