You just find yourself a nice chunk of some Misch metal from the Earth's substrate, then carefully extract any Neodymium, purify it, mold it, coat it in a small amount of nickel, and then wrap some plastic around it in the shape of a thumbtack. Voila.
These rare earth magnetic fridge pins are great for home or office. Their small size won't cover up your pictures, notes and lists. And again, let us repeat that they are strong enough to hold 10 sheets of paper and lift up to 1 lb. each! 8 pins in every set!

While I wouldn't call neodinnium magnets "rare" (how rare is something you can find thousands of listings for on Amazon?), I would call these magnets a total hoot. They're cute, very strong (we can hold a non magnetic key to our fridge with one!) and and the shape makes them easy to remove!
My only complaint: One of the pushpins' magnets fell out- it was stronger then the glue holding it in place! This has only happened to one, though- and is easily fixed with crazy glue (or failing that, an epoxy). Totally worth the money, though!

These magnets are super strong and super small. I hate it when the magnet covers up most of the thing you are trying to put up on the fridge, but that isn't a problem with these tiny guys. I've purchased three sets of these and I have yet to be disappointed.
