This review is for the Kindle edition which is a scanned image of the print edition. On a kindle, it is unreadable as the image of the text is too small and unclear/fuzzy. All pictures are also black and white which is a detriment to even enjoying the book for the visuals of the cards. Lastly, it is 30 years old. While there are no 'new' old post cards, the valuations if one could even make them out are of little to no use. Fashions in collecting vary over time, I am already aware of the relative values of collectible cards as of 1982! I was expecting...my bad...that a kindle book with a 2012 publication date just might be relevant to tge 2012 market values. Alas no. Buyer be forwarned as to what you are buying, as I was not.

I do now see the print copy of this book is quite pricey, no doubt rare and expensive like the post cards it covers. Therefore I thsnk the author for republishing on Kindle AND making it free (today when I got it) but an amended description to clarify the product on offer is this reviewer's recommendation.

This book was written in 1982 so values were outdated. More of a bother some was the illustrations were small and could not be enlarged to see any detail or read the text, so it was like looking at a poorly scanned scribbles. Waste of my time.

While I did enjoy seeing the postcards offered here, I did find myself wishing I could see more of the detail. I care little for the values, since I have none of these. I do like to think at the time they were produced, nobody had a clue they would have some value.
