C.D. worth the wait,
By Robyn (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rarities & Remixes (Audio CD)
Hey, I'm a huge point of grace fan, and I waited for this C.D. for a long time. It was worth the wait, though. they sound great. If you're thinkin of buying it-but it. Their vocals are excellent and clear, and it really gives you a glimpse into what the girls' career was like before the record deal and name change. The girls have some of the best and hottest and most cutting edge voices in christian music today, and they go above the call of duty with that kind of vocal!

The best is yet to come!,

I have all of the cds by PoG and they have yet to make a cd that I don't love. This cd is not quite as great as "Steady On" and "The Whole Truth," but it is very close. There is not one bad song, and this cd is well worth buying even if you have never heard them or even if you have all of their cds.

The album really isn't like a "best of" CD but just the addition of a fresh sound to classic Point of Grace songs. The remix of "Gather at the River" and "Faith, Hope, & Love" are both sure to have you dancing. Also included on the album are the old songs that started it all for them. These were songs they sang when they were called "Say So" and were not under any record label.

After taking time to listen to this recording, I fell in-love with the songs on this. Not only do these girls sing of the Awsome Power of God, but their voices blend together very well (I also thought it was neat that they got the audience to sing on a few songs on the recording)! POG to me has become part of my music libary now and I can truthfully say that they will be in it for sometime. If anyone likes christian music, I recommend that they will give Point Of Grace a listen and then they can choose for themselves if they would want to include them in their own music libary. (Its worth it and worth a good listen to Enjoy)!

Pretty Good Stuff!,

I really appreciate the rarities on this cd - they are all very good, and I woudl've never heard them otherwise. The live version of "Circle Of Friends" is worth the full price alone. The remixes are different, but I like them. However, I would've appreciated remixes of their more recent songs, i.e. from "Life, Love..." on? I recommend this cd to any POG fan. :-)

A "Metal-Head's" review,
By Kenneth Phillips (Indiana) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Rarities & Remixes (Audio CD)
Though I do have all of the POG Albums prior to this one (I think they are great), Rarities and Remixes is the one I consider the best overall. To me, the remixes expressed a "what if" feeling. What if Point of Grace turned Jazz, Blues, or a rock group. To me, the two stand outs were "Gather at the River" and "The Great Divide" "Gather at the River" was given a rock/light metal sound, while "Great Divide" was given a synth sound. Overall, this is a must get.

The POG cd you've waited for!,
By Josie Parker (US) - See all my reviews

I couldn't wait to get this cd! It was time that POG made another one. I can't begin to explain what a wonder this cd is. Point of Grace delivers rich harmonys that can beat any competition(if you even call it that) christian or secualar. All of them are my #1 role models. They are great examples of God's love. "Gather at the River" is an excellent remix! This is the #1 song on the cd. The beginning is sooo cool! It's kinda neat how "Jesus will still be there" doesn't sound anything like the original. "No more pain"'s remix is really good. "Faith, Hope & Love" is also a great remix. I had never heard the song "Say So". Another awsome song. It's great that they did some hymns. "Fairest Lord Jesus" is a very pretty song. Also, you should be interested to know that there is NO remix of "Dying to reach you" on this cd. And, "Circle of Friends" is on this cd, and a song called "He's the best thing". #9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 are live preformances! This is difinetly a cd to get if your a devoted Point of Grace fan! Keep the faith!

This out of all the albums by Point of Grace, has been the best one yet. Their voices blend together beautifully.

Could have been better,

I like Point of Grace, but they overdid some of the pop sound on this cd. "Jesus will still be there is a beautiful song, but the music on this cd ruined it for me. I am not into the hip hop sound, but if you are then this is the cd for you. Some of the songs are done very beautifully, but some I have to skip over and not listen to.
