I love it! I purchased my cover around a month ago, the same time that I ordered my mac. I had used a friends computer before and decided it definitely needed some protection. It fits perfectly over the keys and opening for the touch pad and as an extra bonus covers the edge of the computer which I found very sharp on my arms after a little while. I have taken it off twice to clean off dust and such and it rinses clean dries totally over night and went right back on the next morning. I think every mac owner should have one!! I am also in love with the blue color of mine. Adds a little something extra

First, the good news. It does fit my keyboard perfectly and it is a pretty color. The bad news--it doesn't seem to keep the dirt away from my keyboard. Instead it gets trapped under the cover. It's sticky on the bottom and attracts cat hair like crazy. Also, half the time when I open up my laptop, I catch the keyboard cover and end up yanking it up as well. It's a good idea, but since it can't cover the track pad, there's a space for dirt to get in around the edges of the pad as well. Arg.

The skin, at least in blue, is see through so you don't have to worry about letters being worn off. This skin really fits well; every space is covered. I haven't noticed my computer overheated more often with it on but if you're worried about that then you might want to invest in a cooler pad as well. The only problem I've had so far is when it comes to cleaning the skin, its great I can wash it in the sink but when I want to dry it off I'm always left with little fuzzies from the towel. It may just have to air dry. Other wise I definitely recommend this, it has saved so much gunk from getting into my computer I'm pleased.

This lightweight protection fits over each individual key, but leaves a space open to use your mouse. It also covers the area where your wrists typically sit - saving it from getting dirty also. The light blue color is perfect for seeing the keys through it. You can rinse it, or wash it with dish-soap if necessary (be sure to air dry completely before replacing it on your keyboard). The Keyboard Skin comes off easily to be shaken off (dust, doggie hair), then replaced quickly on the keyboard. I haven't spilled anything wet on it, but it seems that it would help save your computer/keyboard by catching most, if not all, of the spill. If I did, I would quickly turn my computer sideways, then peel the Keyboard Skin down. The skin isn't bulky and poses no problem for shutting the computer lid completely. This is well worth the money, and a Great Value for the money!!

i like the concept of this product, but it did not work well for me. it seemed like more dust got stuck underneath the skin than anything. it ended up making my keyboard look dirty when i took the skin off. i tried to wash the skin, but had the same result.

This cover is great! It has already saved me a $900 repair bill when I accidently spilled a bottle of grape juice on the keyboard. :D It fits the keys, it only took a few days to adjust to. It kinda stretches a little where the palms rest but it's a stretchy material. Overall, best investment I made for my laptop.

The keyboard skin fits well, is easy to clean and is of good quality. It also makes my macbook look nice with the transparent blue.

This keypad makes typing so much quieter. As a University student sometimes typing can be loud in classes or even when your roommate is sleeping, this keypad really keeps down the noise. It looks, and feels, really cool and doesn't prohibit pushing down the buttons in any way. Keeps your keys safe. If you have a laptop cover for the outside it is a little hard to get on because it is designed to grip the sides of the computer but it will stay just the same if you do have a hardcover case, as I do.

Small debris still manages to get under the skin, however, it does the main job of covering major dirt off the keyboard from your hands on the restpad or other sources. I had a slice of pineapple fall onto my keyboard, and the skin did a wonderful job of protecting the keyboard. I simply took the skin off and washed it. The only problem is when you wash it, I'm not sure on how to dry it properly. If you leave it to airdry, watermarks remain on the skin. Typing isn't difficult with the skin, but obviously it's not as smooth.

This is a good product for the short term. Even though its a snug fit there are little gaps through which dust can enter. Hence it has to be cleaned regularly. The typing experience is ok but better when without it. It fits all the keys perfectly except the ENTER/RETURN key since its an L shape key. The manufacturer has to note this particular correction for the next release.

Considering all the above negatives it sure does protect your keyboard from liquid spillage. So I gave it a 4 since there is still area for improvement.
I bought this along with Speck 13" MacBook-Compatible See-Thru Hard Case, Aqua. The combination of both look great.
