I was very worried the first day I got my Macbook about stuff getting in between the keys. As soon as this skin arrived, it as all good! Protects well and is easy to type with. Actually feels nice on your fingers. Does not move and fits well. The other day at Panera I spilled a bit of coffee and voila, this skin saved the macbook. For the peace of mind, the price is WELL WORTH IT. Best Wishes.

The item covers both the keyboard itself AND the wrist rest sections to either side of the trackpad. If you cut out the wrist sections, the keyboard cover fits perfectly over the keys of the Aluminum 13" Macbook. Works perfect for that and I will not return it, but be aware: when you order this item you will get the cover designed to cover the entire surface of the older version Macbooks.

I bought my cover about a year ago and it has not left my laptop's keys, its stopped water, alot of dirt and dust from entering my keys and does provide some comfort for my wrists, it felt weird at first but you get used to typing with it. i high recommend it, i probably would have had to buy another laptop by now if it wasnt for the cover.

This is a great product however I the photo and description were not true. I chose the one that only covered the keys but the one I recieved covered the keyboard and sides of the mouse track. I do like it but would rather have the one I thought I was purchasing.

This is a great protector. The skin fits perfectly on my macbook. Make sure your hands are clean. Tends to leave oil marks pretty easily (body oil or if you've eaten something like popcorn). Other than that it serves its purpose.

This was purchased for my son in Afghanistan. He reports it "fits like a glove" and solved the problem of dust.

This covers the entire keyboard and wrist rest area plus trackpad clicker. The trackpad is open. Having spilled an entire cup of coffee on my laptop, I see true value
in this product. Sure it keeps the keyboard clean, it makes the laptop edges more comfortable, but it also gave me the extra 10 seconds I needed to avoid a costly repair!
Highly recommend over a smaller keyboard skin. Have bought them for son's computer and recommended to friends as well. Wash it in the sink with soap and air dry.

Oh, and yes, coffee should not be near a computer, but come on...get real.....we all do it. Next time I'll drink some first before I open the laptop though ;-)

As other reviewers have indicated,this does change the feel of the keyboard quite a bit, but I actually quite enjoy the softer sounds and the texture of the skin. My white macbook was becoming dingy, and keeping it clean was a weekly affair-- then I found some dog hair between the keys and decided it was time to try the skin. I'm glad I did. It looks great and feels quite nice as well, and I especially like the fact that it cushions the wrist pad area somewhat. A very nice product.

Now that I have this cover on my keyboard, I see how much gunk finds its way into my life. I'm happy to have something to catch it all.

Sometimes when I open my computer the skin lifts up but that is a non-issue for me.

This is my second keyboard condom for my mac. I had a clear version and I got tired of it because I could barely see the keyboard letters through the oily residue. This black one will look seemlier and sexier. Buy it only if you have the leopard version
