I'm sure this keyboard skin would have been great. However, all our company's MacBooks currently have Speck cases on them, and this skin would not fit correctly with that case on there. So beware, if you have a Speck case, or possibly another type of case, this will probably not fit right on your computer.

this product hides the nasty marks you make with the palms of your hands on any white macbook (didn't they thought about sweaty palms???). typing using this product might be a bit difficult at the beginning, but one quickly gets used to it. would definitely buy a replacement when the time comes.

Usually, I'm not compelled to write a review for a product. but i just received this and i must say that I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm not noticing a decrease in my typing speed either. The rubber feels nice on the fingers and it's also much much more quiet than the plastic scrabble like keys. fits nicely over the edges, and for ten dollars i could not have gotten a better deal to protect an imperative piece on such a precious product. buy it NOW

This product was really good, it protects really well, a really good fit to the keyboard, it slightly slows down typing speed but thats the only negative, overall, its great

When my sister visited, I noted that she had a neon green keyboard cover on her MacBook. Since I tend to have bad habits, eating and drinking near mine, I decided this was a real need. I was happy to discover that it was available in tasteful white to match my laptop. Lots of people say "Ew" when they first type on the keyboard, but when I tell them what it's for, they think it's a great product, too.

this product was really nice for making my keyboard quieter on my laptop. It looked really nice too except after a little while it would get dirty and it was impossible to get the dirt off, but I am a college student so I didn't really care. Other than that it is nice.

Fits my Macbook 13" perfectly. Stays in place pretty well. Gets dirty but cleans easily with soap and water and lay out to dry completely before reusing. Typing long papers can be annoying with this but you get used to it, or do what I do and remove it when you are going to be doing a lot of fast typing. If you are like me and you eat and drink over your laptop daily, this may save you from the inevitable cereal bowl spill or curious cat incident.

I have the early 2008 white macbook and was looking for something to cover up the keyboard so it wouldn't get so dirty.

This skin fits just okay. It's not a perfect fit and has a tendency every now and then to slip off the top left and right corners near the Esc and Eject keys.

What bothers me the most about this skin is that whatever dirt is trapped on the top of the skin gets transferred onto the white plastic frame surrounding the screen. I've tried every cleaner to get the dirt off but it's permanently stuck on there. The edges of skin catch a lot of dirt therefore leaving a frame of dirt on the screen frame.

This skin is REALLY hard to clean. Every bit of lint and dirt gets caught on it and the only way to get it off is to physically wash it off with dish soap.

I usually type 75+ wpm and the thickness of the cover really slows me down. It takes a lot more effort to press down on the keys and make sure every key is pressed. It does quiet the keys so it's not as loud when I'm in a class or something but the extra pressure to put on the keys doesn't make it worth it.

I noticed my macbook getting a little louder because I think my fan is around the "asdf" area of the keys and since the skin is thick and covers the fan, it can get pretty irritating and I'm worried it might be damaging my computer for the long run.

Works very well and has a great feel. I am super particular about my electronics and like to keep them looking new as long as possible. This product does a great job of doing just that. A++

You can wash this skin with a soft soap.

Just buy it and enjoy the long life for your keyboard.
