I got this because my roomate has cats, and I was noticing hairs making their way into my keyboardand I wasn't to excited about little hairs working thier way into my keyboard.

My first impression of this is that it feels great, it's got a great texture and doesn't leave marks on my screen like I got before I started using this. It really fits perfectly on to the keyboard even though it does affect my typing a little bit but I feel it's worth it for the protection I'm getting.

I purchased this product concurrent with my new Macbook to ensure that it was safe from day one. While it does provide the benefits of preventing dust and other junk from getting on the laptop, I don't believe it provides more than veneer protection from a liquid spill. As well, there is a noticeable effect on typing. I am currently typing through it and it definitely slows down my typing speed and raises my error rate. Also, it does not fit perfectly on my Macbook. The edges are very slightly off the edge of the computer creating a raised rubber edge around the left and right sides of the laptop. This is only important in that it peels everytime I open the lid and often requires reseating the overlay.

Still, it looks nice and feels good. Aside from the incredible misspellings on the packaging, worth the purchase price.

My keyboard cover arrived quickly. I have had it for about two months, and the skin is ripping. It has ripped from the track pad all the way to the edge of the computer. It would be a perfect product if it were a little thicker to withstand my typing action. Next time I think I will purchase one that is more like a sticker to my computer so it has no chance of movement.

This laptop keyboard cover has been saving my laptop for over a year now. It is a very thin material, but it does take a little while to get used to (your type speed will slow down some at the beginning of use), but it was well worth it. Over the span of a month or so, my type speed went back up to normal, and the cover is still good to this day. I rarely wash it, and when I do, it dries almost immediately. Great product, and I will definitely be purchasing more when I get a new Macbook.

Ive had this keyboard cover for 2 years and its still in perfect condition. i thought the white letters on the buttons would start fading or rubbing off by now, but it looks like when i just bought it. im not sure if its me or not, but where i place my palms on the left and right of the touch pad below the space bar, theres slight wear that occured under the skin. i dont know if the cover has a chemical in it that took some of the finish off or i just have really heavy hands? overall: i like it

Really good at protecting my apple. The material seems to attract a lot of dust.

If your keyboards often wear out, this is probably a good product for you. I haven't used it for a long time so I'll have to revisit my review after a few weeks of use.

Note that the added rubber does indeed change the action of keys - there is a noticible "edge" made from the rubber when depressing keys, which might be slightly irritating to some.

I have a bit of an issue with the way the palm rest is made. It has a slight edge which I think is supposed to go outside of the frame and sort of wrap around the very top of the base. This sort of prevents the cover from staying shut completely without some adjustments. Not sure if it will stay in place after awhile or if that would continue to be an issue. If you have some kind of external skin this shouldn't be a problem, but without one I'd be a bit worried about the top catching on papers, etc. in a bag. Given that, I would have preferred a tapered edge around the palm rests. One of the reasons I got this however was to combat the wear patterns forming on the palm rests of my MacBook.

One thing I was a bit worried about was possibility of a latex smell - so far I don't detect any bad smell on my hands from the cover.

Over all a good purchase, recommended.

The function keys on new macbooks now control iTunes playback (a nice feature) and have been shuffled around to reflect this. While my new rasfax keyboard cover fits nicely over my keyboard, the function keys are printed with the wrong set of symbols. It's kind of a shame. Otherwise I might have given this product four stars, because protecting my 'book is a big concern for me.

The fit isn't *perfect* - but mine arrived kind of folded inside the package which may have given it's imperfect ripples here and there. However this thing is totally worth it to protect from dust, liquids, crumbs, etc.

I wish they made these for macbook pros, because I have been looking for them forever. What else could you ask, A keyboard cover and handrest cover in one, don't scratch your notebook as well as protect the keyboard from water damage/dirt. Great product!
