5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Great
This is one of those Cds that you look at and recognize most or some of the songs and think that ut might be a good collection of popular(commercial) reggae songs. I picked up this Cd for that reason but I have yet to put it down. There are some golden tunes and one-hit-wonders that should be a part of everyone's reggae collection. This is the type of album you could play at a party and keep the people moving. Its also great for driving around. It is not a roots album by any means. There is a heavy bass and hip-hop tempo.

Songs worth extra mention: track #9 'Boom Shak A-Tack' is one of Born Jamericans' best with a upful energy and great sound. #11 'Dolly My Baby' Supercat, which is decent but gets real good at the end with a cut from Third Eye, Puff Daddy, and Biggie Smalls. #14 'Take it Easy' a great Mad Lion rude boy cut (unfortunately it was Mad Lion's only good song. The beat was doctored by KRS One). #16 'Wings of the Morning' Capleton and Method Man (nuff said). There are many other great songs as well. Well worth the money!

This is one of the nicest collections of reggae and dancehall songs you could ever find. You've heard all of these before, and all you need to do is insert the Cd and wind up ya waist! From Shaggy to Chaka Demus & Pliers to Mad Cobra to Mad Lion to "Action" by Terror Fabulous to Maxi Priest, you can't go wrong. Enjoy!
