Material - Moebius and Plank were members of the 70's German band Cluster of which Roedelius was also a member. All three have released solo CD's combined or with other artists. Material, which I have on vinyl contains about eight tracks - all instrumental. In some cases there are no rhythym instruments (drums, bass) and what you have are long sequences of repeated synthesizer sound scapes. It is almost hypnotic over a period of time. The feeling in a lot of the tracks is quite reflective. This is quite different than the current type of music referred to as electronic music. BW Toronto, Canada

This was clearly avant-garde experimental stuff when it came out. It still ranks along with the best stuff of Eno as the benchmark for ambient electronica. Astounding
