If I could give this half a star, I might have to consider it. A swivel holster is a great idea. Unfortunately, this one isn't worth a dime. If it was free, I still might turn it down. That's how frustrating it is.

For starters the clip doesn't detach from the holster part. It is very uncomfortable when sitting. In my case, I sat down one too many times. After using it for only a week and a half and it cracked. It's made out of cheap plastic.

Even if you're lucky enough to have it not break on you, it has other weaknesses. It has two short plastic tabs holding in the phone from the bottom. It does make it easy to get the phone out. The problem is that it makes it too easy. The phone tends to simply slip out of the things if you brush up against anything or sit the wrong way.

My advise is to go to an accessory store and get one of the leather holders that has a detachable swivel arm in the back and a belt clip. I have no idea why Amazon doesn't sell those, but whatever their reasons, don't let it be your loss. Don't settle for this cheap accessory. It's cheap, it's clunky, it's uncomfortable, and it's totally not worth it.

I just got the newest Sanyo MM-8300 and this Holster doesn't fit! The phone will not stay in the holster no matter what I do. If the phone is in a leather case it will fit securely but I know over time it will probably break it, being such a tight fit. It will also ruin the leather case. Luckily the leather case I got has a belt clip on it anyway, it doesn't swivel, but it's better that this Holster.

I am buying 2 more of these today. My husband has broken 2 already. They last about 4-5 months and then crack or break. Both times he's had it break at the swivel. My husband hates the leather case and the plastic swivel holster at Sprint is the same cheap plastic but more expensive so we'll keep buying these until he replaces the phone.
