Is the 14th Amendment a valid part of the US Constitution? This question is explored at length in this excellent book. The tactics, methods, and machinations of the Radical Republications in their attempts to crush the spirit of the former Confederates are revealed. The length to which they would go to attain their goals, and the illegalities they employed to do so are brought out into the light. No person with any conscience can condone these acts after they have read these pages. It may even cause you to doubt what you were taught about the war that preceded this amendment's passage!
