Heard the rating for this game was T compared to mk2's M. Did NISA happen to censor or tone down certain characters and elements in this game?
I know the absence of trick and the Conquest end probably helps a lot, but after Mugen Souls, I can't help but have this nagging feeling in the back of my head that NISA did something in this game to make it more "suitable" for the western audience...
I'm probably overthinking things, but i'm pretty uptight with NISA lately.

NISA didn't censor this game.

Some of you people really need to stop generalizing western gamers by assuming thing like that.

Only one thing angers me more than localized games getting censored ... that's people who assume things about me because they want to generalize a region of gamers to make us look bad or make themselves look better because of a version we don't even have a say over.

You might want to complain to the group of people who are allowed without my say so to decide what it and isn't in the games i buy instead seeing as they are the real problem.

If that reply was for me, I was actually quoting something NISA said for their reasons of censoring Mugen Souls.

Alongside a bunch of their other excuses "the bath not being suitable/acceptable for western audiences" were one of them.

I'm all against censoring in-game content and such too.

Regulations on what is considered child pornography are much more lenient in Japan. Its not considered child pornography if it is drawn, and the characters are said to be of legal age...no matter how old they may appear. In America if it looks like it, and the characters are underage, obviously seeing a bunch of little girls bathing in a hot springs while moaning as they scrub each other is pushing it. If you can't see that you have a bigger problem.

I understand about how it's not acceptable in the states and all that stuff.
That doesn't make it automatically ok with me. Removing something I like from a game is obviously going to upset me.
I'm not trying to push my opinions on anyone either by saying they have "a problem" or they're idiots or whatever. I buy a game for enjoyment. Take out something I enjoy, and I won't buy it. Simple as that. I won't try to persuade anyone else to do the same.

tl;dr- I understand why it had to happen, I just don't accept it.

Game is not censored. Although the outfits don't seem as bad as mk2, they are on par with the first game in the trilogy, which was also rated T. I also think that mk2 got the M rating because of dialogue involving Ram and Rom. If you played the game, you might know what I'm talking about.

Actually NISA had already said why MK2 received a M rating, and that was because of the Conquest Ending. It was pretty messed up, but I thought it added a different side to a cutesy game that made me enjoy MK2 more.

I thought it was both the Conquest Ending and the dialogue with Ram and Rom. Both kinda put it up there in the age ratings. And not suprising, either. Both were more than a little messed up, Ram and Rom's issue being more comical, though.

Well yes, the sexual comments by the boss with the tongue definitely added to it.
