5.0 out of 5 stars Insightful and a pleasure to read, December 7, 1999

This review is from: Rational Choice in an Uncertain World (Paperback)
The book is well structured, with each chapter demonstrating one aspect of how irrationality keeps creeping up in our day to day decision making. The style is clear an pleasant.

Highly recommanded.

this is an excellent book. i had dr. dawes as a psychology professor at the university of michigan in the early 60's and his ideas in this book are as interesting and as clearly expressed as they were in person.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Intro To Rational Choice, April 29, 2009

This review is from: Rational Choice in an Uncertain World (Paperback)
Pros: Good explanation and introduction to 'typical' decision making and 'rational' decision making. Good examples add clarity and ease of learning. Very well written.

Cons: The author becomes too involved in the undesired outcomes of bad public policy decisions (Viet Nam war).

Conclusion: Highly recommend this book to those interested in improving their decision making and guarding against the decision error of others.
