The Lost Sounds Continue to be Untouchable, February 4, 2003

Simply one of the most amazing bands to come out in quite some time. How does one review a Lost Sounds album? From the garage rock madness of their debut "Memphis is Dead", to the dark new wave destruction of their sophmore release "Black Wave", Jay Reatard, Alicja Trout and the gang return with their latest concoction "Rats Brains and Microchips". While most bands either get stuck in a rut with the same sound or experiment and fail, the Lost Sounds have evolved again. Adding a touch more of the "black" than the "wave" heard on their last album the Lost Sounds have become darker, even more sinister sounding that ever.
I could continue babbling on and on but why would I? And why are you reading my babble? Buy this record now! Buy all the Lost Sounds records. Do so or you will be left behind. When mankind has become extinct, the Lost Sounds will have evolved again, into an even greater juggernaut.
