my 6 y. o. son love this. Its kind of like the card game war. He who gets all the cards wins. Because you are holding a stack of cards in your hand, a small child can easily play this game as opposed to trying to hold cards as you would to play a hand of cards. The instructions are a bit challenging for parents. So be patient with reading them. Its a simple game, but the instructions could have been better written.

I work in an extended care program after school. From 5pm to 6pm this is our go to game, kids from k-8 love it. It is so popular that we bought 2 of the same game in case we can't find them anymore!

I got this because it was cheap and we play tons of games but this game is not a favorite of any of us. My kids (4 and 5.5) had fun playing it the first couple of times but have not asked to play it since then. We love Gamewright games and this one doesn't even compare.

This game is really fun it is fast paced and makes it easy to play a quick game with the kids when you don't have much time.

This is a great game that anyone can play. If I am going to be spending time with kids, I like to have a game with me.
It's a fast moving game that I've played with 4 year old children to those in their 50's. A luck game that everyone I've played with loves.

I've worked with kids for the past five years and Rats! is the best game I have ever come across; it is easy to understand thus making it accessible for all ages but, the older the child (7+) the more competitive it gets which adds to the fun. Because they are just cards and made out of thick paper, they begin to deteriorate after about two years of consecutive use, so lamination is suggested.

This is the grandkids favorite game. They get into competition with each other and also with grandma and grandpa. It's easy enough for the little ones as well. Lots of games are too hard for little ones, and they get left out frequently. This game is one that they can play and get into the action with the rest of the kids.

We love these oversized cards. Super fun game for energetic (slightly violent) boys. Easy enough to understand when they were in grade school, still fun to play with tweens. Another good aspect of this game for people with more than one child is that you never really lose until the end (people without cards can slap back in).
