What a great conversation piece this is! This lamp has a sturdy solid base and a basic no tools needed assembly. The rattan fronds are easy to install and adjust. The coconuts are where the light bulbs are hidden so the lamp is more for ambient lighting than illuminating a whole room. My lamp was purchaed in 1996 and, with the exception of a few fronds being a little more bowed at the insertion point, the lamp still looks exactly as the day I bought it.
