Rattlesnake fits the mood,

This album came out right after 9/11. I purchased this disc knowing I loved Tori Amos' other releases. Her take on songs sung by men interpreted by a woman and her point of view. Somehow Rattlesnake really spoke to me.The way the song was arranged with her selection of instrument was mesmerizing. I always have this song in the back of my mind if i feel confused or very tiny in this world of chaos. It haunts me for whatever reason. A perfect song for a time when chaos ruled in modern day America! |
