4.0 out of 5 stars Latte Art?
This is one of the more competitively priced 12oz pitcher on Amazon. Its solid construction will ensure years of heavy usage. The previous reviewer commented on its handle but my medium sized hands fit the handle adequately without the need to come into contact with the pitcher. Otherwise, don't fill it to the rim with hot milk.

3.0 out of 5 stars Go big... trust me
I have rather large hands, and I had no problems with the 12oz. pitcher. The price is reasonable, the construction is great... I would just spring for the 20oz. pitcher if I had it to do over. I got it for work, and we have six people in our area. If it is just you in the morning, then sure, go with the 12oz.; however, if there is any likelihood of a second or even a...

4.0 out of 5 stars Latte Art?, November 5, 2008

The previous reviewer commented on its handle but my medium sized hands fit the handle adequately without the need to come into contact with the pitcher. I pour latte art on my drinks and this pitcher has a nice sharp spout which allows the flow of milk to be easily controlled at the spout.

You can easily steam enough milk in this pitcher for 2 typical 5oz cappuccinos without spilling the milk in the steaming process. Recommended!

This was exactly what I was looking for-a small, sturdy pitcher that I can use to make a latte for one. It's hard to have much to say about a basic pitcher, but this one is good. It's sturdy. The only drawback is the handle. Unless you use only one finger and thumb to hold it, your knuckles are going to get burned. For that reason, I just use a pot holder and grab the whole cup instead of the handle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pitcher, April 12, 2009
This review is from: Rattleware 12-Ounce Latte Art Milk Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
Excellent frothing pitcher, really does make a difference in frothing. Good size to steam enough milk for one latte. Is small enough to fit underneath the steaming nozzle on my home espresso maker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just the right size for a single, large cappuccino, February 7, 2011

This pitcher holds 12 ounces when filled to the brim. It is exactly the right size for a single, large cappuccino.

It is made of heavier gauge steel than my other two pitchers (one that's too large and one that's too small). The stainless steel appears to be excellent. I doubt that rust will ever be a problem.

The handle seems to be appropriately sized. I didn't have any problem with it. It is welded on with four spot welds. The welds look like they'll be perfectly adequate for the occasional fall to the floor. My smaller pitcher has only three spot welds and I have had no problems with it in the many years I have owned it.

Altogether this is an excellent pitcher that is the perfect size for me.

Update, one year (almost) later:
The handle is still firmly attached to the pitcher, in spite of a couple of falls. Still no rust either.

I have bought a new cappuccino maker that makes a larger shot. As a result I now need to froth more milk than when I bought this pitcher, so it's now just a bit too small. I have switched back to my larger, 18-ounce (filled to the brim) pitcher. I am keeping this smaller one to use with my old cappuccino maker in our RV.

Apparently, this one is either just right or too small, depending upon your own style of coffee making. If it's the right size, you won't go wrong with this pitcher.

Product works really well with the small 4 cup Mr. Coffee cappuccino maker coffee machine. Small enough to fit under the steamer and allows you to get lots of froth.

This is a great frothing pitcher. The size is slightly too high for my
DeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker but compared to the price and size of others available I'm happy that it was the right choice. I have to lift the espresso maker just a bit to remove it if the foam is to the top of the pitcher, but for the price it was good value.

I didn't realize that this was larger than I wanted it to be (my bad for not reading the listed ounces). Otherwise I would have kept it because it was very durable and I love the spout as the one I have now doesn't have these feature and it could be messy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost too perfect., May 8, 2011

When I first took this pitcher out of the package, I thought it would barely hold any milk in it whatsoever! However, after a few weeks of use, I can say that it is almost too perfect for a single latte or cappuccino. For a latte, fill with milk up to where the spout begins. For cappuccino, a bit less than that. It feels good in my hands, although I have small hands. And it pours latte art like any other rattleware pitcher, perfectly. Everytime.

This is the perfect accessory for the DeLonghi EC155 Espresso machine. Barely fits under the frothing wand but if you buy a smaller size it won't hold enough milk, or the milk will overflow when it doubles in size. If you want to steam enough milk for 2 lattes, buy a larger size and put the Delongi on top of a platform (big cookbook ?) to allow clearance.
