We remain sixty years in the past. Haru is racing off to save Resha, while Sieg guards Elie, and eventually finds out a stunning truth about the entire situation that may allow them all to return to the present time despite the gaffes they've committed in the past. With just four volumes remaining in the series, Mashima seems revitalized, almost, and he takes what could have been a hokey, overused storyline and makes it his own. Very nicely done. **** |
