Great tube. Very stable in smooth water even in fast turns. Gets a lot of air in rough water or decent cross waves. May be a little too much for little kids.
Able to lay on your belly, lay on your back, sit on your butt, or sit up on your knees in this tube.
The black seams around the openings are super-heavy-duty which should mean years of use BUT they are NOT skin friendly. They are very rough. The handles all have covers on them but the material is only a little smoother then your average sandpaper after a few minutes. Kids were complaining but not enough to stop riding.
The tube planes up really fast on the water due to the high mounted position of the towstrap. The quick connect stays high out of the water as not to splash the rides.
The rooster tail that it throws is proportionate to the speed you are towing. 15-20MPH it shoots maybe 3-5ft. 20-25MPH it jumps up to 10+ft. The kids loved it and it makes it easy for anyone on the shore watching to keep track of the action.
Max combined weight is rated at 340lbs which is more then enough for 2 rides, unless Dad & say one of his buddies happens to want to ride it. Best suggestion is to try and balance out the load. Tried with a 100lb kid and a 50lb kid and it did sit a little offset but not enough to mess up the ride.
Wrapped some tape around the handles and seams and it did the trick, for now.
Overall 1st weekend out we probably put 12 hours on that tube and the kids couldn't get enough of it.
