5.0 out of 5 stars The Version I Have (1992)
For those who were asking, the songs on the 1992 release of "rave 'til dawn" were: 1) Ottorongo - "f**k you" (Singalongmotherf**ker Mix); 2) The Movement - "jump" (Mutha Mix); 3) 2 Unlimited - "get read for this" (Orchestral Mix); 4) Blue Pearl - "can you feel the passion" (Palladium Mix); 5) Code Red - "dreamer,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fake Version
This is not the original "Rave til Dawn" CD that ravers from that era are always raving about.

Find the 11 track version that has "O Fortuna (Apocalypse Chorus Mix)"

I think it's B00008EUHN, but amazozn only shows 10 tracks on that version. I purchased B00008EUHN and received the 11 track version.

4.0 out of 5 stars Apotheosis - Ofortuna, April 2, 2004

When I first purchased this CD, there was a song on the CD that was one of the original techno/club remixes of the time, and it used Carmina Burana--

Apotheosis - Ofortuna
is the song you are talking about and is missing from this version. It was the best song on the original version of Rave Til Dawn.

I wore this CD out too. Sounds dated now but some of us remember when this was THE techno cd. Best wishes to everyone else who grew up on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is truly the best of Rave music circa early 1990s, March 31, 1999

This is one of only two CDs I have worn out from overplay. It should also be noted that there are two versions. The version that is still available is not quite a good since they changed a couple of songs, but still I would highly recommend this CD for any fan of Rave music. The first three tracks (which have not changed) are without a doubt some of the best Rave style music I have heard, you almost can't help dancing to it. I wish they still made Rave music of this quality. Highly Recommend this CD.

Some of the songs on this album are hard to get, if not impossible. Most of the music was played at least a year before this album was released, however, when the underground scene became known as "rave" it was all over.
You're best looking for the Channel X songs, as those are probably the best in this compilation. Happy Hunting!

This is a great album. Jump is on of the best songs on it! Sorry for the guy who bought it and the album was missing Jump! If you love techno and want a good mix buy this, or if just want something to get you up and moving...get this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars There is an alternate version of this CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, January 16, 2002
This review is from: Rave Til Dawn (Audio CD)
This CD is the epitome of original Techno/Rave music, and is THE one CD that every techno-head should have. Forget all the different bastardized versions of Techno that are out now (Drum and Bass, Jungle, Trance, etc., etc.), this is true Techno! Here's my dilema, though. When I first purchased this CD, there was a song on the CD that was one of the original techno/club remixes of the time, and it used Carmina Burana as the base for the song. Anyone who knows early 90's techno will remember the song, but, I cannot remember the stupid name nor find ANY CD's with it on it! I am going nuts. When I finally repurchased this CD a few years ago after having had my original CD stolen, I realized that this was a different version of the original CD. Does anyone know where I could find this original CD version or at least a CD single of the Carmina Burana remix? If so, please contact me at my email address. Much appreciated!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ditto, November 18, 1999
This review is from: Rave Til Dawn (Audio CD)
This was my very first Techno/Rave TAPE I ever bought... I was hooked from the beginning... I wore the tape out and had to buy it again... this time the cover was blue... missing The Movements Jump (Mutha mix) :<( Still, a truly awsome Cd for anyone who likes hardcore/trance/Rave muzik. Came out in '92 but the artists on there came out between '91 and '92. Great variety of sub styles.

4.0 out of 5 stars Back when, August 3, 2004
This review is from: Rave Til Dawn (Audio CD)
I remember listening to this CD when I was a little kid. It basically has shaped my musical taste to what it is now. My brother found it on the beach one day and brought it home. I was in love with it. Thyen it dissapeared again. I still have the happy face in my head from the CD face.
