Very glad (and surprised) to find this on kindle,

This review is from: The Raven and The Rose (Kindle Edition)
I have a worn, torn copy of this in paperback and am so glad I can get it for my kindle. I took far too many years of Latin in high school and college and have always loved this time period. The characters seem real and the life and obligations of the vestal virgins are unusual for romance novels. The love scenes are PG at best but the tale of family obligations, arranged marriages, and unexpected complicated love kept me reading. In many ways it's THE ROBE with a happier ending.
