Raven is a deadly female warrior woman, and Spellbinder is her Warlock partner. Unlike Red Sonja, she is not the chaste or shy type, and they have an open relationship as they go adventuring.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Book, May 24, 2011

I first bought this book back in '88-'90 new probably in utah it was while I was in the military and away from home training I think. Anyway I really enjoyed it have a powerful female lead, sorcery, a little psionics as I recall, spellbinder, a character used in the book, was really cool. It was about 10 years later I saw the book again while moving and decided to take another look at it, at this time I realized it was part 1 of something with further research it is 1 of 5 books, started looking around and found book 3, and picked it up, now I have finally picked up the other 3, so I have all 5 parts now. The title of book 5 makes me a bit sad, although I guess it is the last book...A time of dying.

Wonderful book, I just wish they had printed the rest of the series. At book 5 they were really starting to get interesting.
