5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book on posttraumatic stress disorder sequelae., July 17, 1997

This review is from: The Raven's Return: The Influence of Psychological Trauma on Individuals and Culture (Paperback)
Partly a personal memoir, but a very learned one, this is a slim book in the spirit of Carl Jung's less theoretical writings (though it does a good job of clearly presenting Jung's basic ideas about complexes). Concisely explains how pervasive posttraumatic stress disorder is in our culture. If you're interested in working on your own traumata, or working with a Jungian therapist, an excellent book to read at the same time would be the much weightier 'The Wisdom of The Ego.
