Product Description

Editorial Review

Practice hand-eye coordination while having big-top fun with the Stacrobats balancing game. Start with the sturdy black plastic base, then build a crazy tower of acrobats using the brightly colored 6-inch pieces. Each one must hang or stand on the rest without causing the whole bunch to topple. This, of course, gets progressively more challenging; the more players, the merrier. The 33 pieces are sturdy and attractive, with plenty of hooks and holes for wild 3-D stacking. Tension builds throughout, and a steady hand is harder to come by as the game progresses, but a calm mind can win the game. --Rob Lightner

5.0 out of 5 stars Mulitple Levels of Fun, January 31, 2008
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars

My kids love this game. There are few rules, they can play it without an adult, and because all the pieces are the same you can still play it even after you loose a few pieces. The other thing I love is that they are shaped like people so my kids use them as paper dolls, too. They also enjoy sorting them by color and stacking them flat on top of each other. Another great thing is that you don't need other people to play it, and if one of the younger kids gets bored and walks away it doesn't affect the rest of the game. It says for ages 5 and up but even my 3 year old adores playing with the people pieces.

This was a gift to a friend who was "balancing" a lot at her job. It turned out to be a lot of fun, and we played it at a party with firends and family (all adults). Everyone was laughing and having a good time, so it served it's function. I would imagine it would be great for kids too.

Our 5 year-old boys get a kick out of this balancing act. Truth be known, so do their Mom and Pop! Good, simple low-tech fun for all!
