My guess is that this game plays much like Scotland Yard, its predecessor, just with a different geography.The game does build teamwork among up to five players who are the detectives trying to corner the six player representing the fugitive Mister X. Is is in contrast to other games where competition is purely the objective. Of course competition still exists against Mister X who has to show some clever moves to outwit the team of detectives. The game is indeed a challenge for Mister X to remain at large through all the turns of the game. Experienced players should taken on the role. Otherwise, expect a short lived game, with Mister X captured by the detectives early on. |
