When I read the back of the box: "contents; 40 dice"-- I thought 'how can a game with a lot of dice rolling be bad? '-- and it's not. The dice are good quality, although not precision casino dice. The money is heavy card stock so can be shuffled properly. The box comes with a nice tray for everything. Based on these components alone, I am not sure it worth the $ 30 dollar price tag, but if you can get it for $20, grab it.

But here is where the hidden value begins: One of my favorite things about this game is that you don't really need the box-- it travels well in a big ziplock freezer bag. Then, you have 40 dice of different colors so you can also play liar's dice, yahtzee, Farkle, etc. and don't need to bring all those games along! (Maybe just a few score sheets, but those are readily available on line these days.)

I think it plays best with 5 people . Can be explained in three minutes, then start rolling! Strategy is not deep, but is dynamic especially with more players.

Fun little push your luck game. Make sure to play with the white dice variant. The white dice are neutral gamblers that show up and can foil the other players' efforts. It's fun just placing those dice since they elicit lots of moaning and pleading not to hose the other players with. You are trying to block other players' die placements by forcing ties so that they get nothing as much as you are trying to improve your position. The best part is when you force a tie at a table that you can't win at and the neutral player walks away with the cash! Ha ha! Everyone will hate you for that.

A lot of laugh out loud fun from one of my favorite game designers.

There's also a mini slot machine expansion for this but I have not been able to locate it.

This is quick, fast game that is great for quick good time. We particularly like to play it with our kids because the element of chance is high enough to give the young ones a chance to win, but there is enough strategy to keep the adults interested. Plus, it is fast enough to work in a quick game at the last second before bedtime.

I had a friend come over and break out this game,
...and to our surprise ...we loved it.

I am not a big fan of the city of Las Vegas, and the theme does not attract me. However, the tactile dice and the "push-your-luck" game-play all works so well, that there is no denying this is a huge winner. From the price point, to the colorful art on the diamond shaped tiles, the game is a success.

I can see how many hobby board gamers, aren't going to like Las Vegas because there isn't enough "meat" or complexity to this. However, keep in mind, this is a simple "filler" game that your grandma would love. The rules are fairly straight-forward and easy enough for a 10 year old to learn.

The dice do seem a bit small, but this point isn't a "deal breaker". Also, the game should have included more dice so you could play 6 or even 8 players. With that said, all you need to include more players, is a extra set of eight d6's (but 14mm is a difficult size dice to find). I also would of like there to be more "variants" in the rules to spice it up and change some things.

All in all.... this game a huge winner for any family.

Go buy Las Vegas today, you'll love it!

Nice Lite game, Fun, easy to learn and easy to play. This is no mind bender or push over but fits the bill when relaxing over thinking is the goal.

I have to thank my pal Woody for getting me hooked. During some down time at a gamer meetup, he whipped out this gem. Very easy to learn and very fun to play. Moves quickly. And there's dice! Three games later, I found myself hooked.

Since my demented blurb did little to describe the game, it's simple: pick a color, roll your dice. There are six 'casinos' of varying value that you compete for based on the value of individual dice. Player with the most dice on any given casino wins that payout. There are four rounds. At the end of four rounds, total your winnings, player with the most wins.

It's a great game to relax with after playing more brain heavy games or can be a mainstay for the beer&pretzels crowd.

I was introduced to this game by a family member, and was hooked upon the first play. Everyone whom I've played it with has loved it as much. This game is great for casual gamers and even for people who don't consider themselves gamers at all. It is easy to learn and only requires people to roll dice and pick a number. The best part is that the game has the potential to completely turn on a single dice roll. It takes strategy and planning in the early part of a round, but then all bets are off as your last few dice may end up at a place you and your fellow players never expected. This is the most rewarding part of the game to me. I highly recommend this as a casual party game.

Simple, highly random game that has a small strategy element to it (choosing how to spend your dice). I enjoy it for what it is, but others in my family find it frustrating because of the nature of the game: you are at the mercy of chance. There can be a valuable card available but you are unable to compete for it because you do not roll its number. Also, if other players roll the same numbers that you do you can get knocked out of the money while some other player rakes in the dough unopposed. I'm fine with all that because it is a quick, light game - but others just find the game pointless.
