Very easy to learn and very fun to play.

The best part is that the game has the potential to completely turn on a single dice roll.

It is so easy that we had multi-generations of family members playing together.

I'll first sum up what you'll get with this. It's a quick, light, short and fun dice game for 2-6 players. It's a lot of fun with multiple players, but I have found it works just as well with 2, due to some neutral dice rules. Actually, those neutral dice can be used for up to 4 players, and I wholly recommend it. They add an extra layer of decisions when rolling, that I think enhance the game considerably. So this game is fun for any number, as it turns out.

I can sum up the game pretty quickly. You have 6 casino tiles, and they are numbered 1 through 6. You have a deck of money cards, and each player gets 8 dice of a color (plus any neutral dice used). There are 4 rounds of play. During a round, a player rolls all their dice. Then sort them by number. Finally, select one dice result to place on a casino, and place ALL dice of that rolled number on the correspondingly numbered casino tile. Three sixes are placed on the number 6 casino tile, for example. Then the next player rolls, and so on. Each player continues taking turns, and will roll all remaining dice on each turn, until all players are out of dice. Then each casino tile is scored.

At the start of each round, money cards (each valued from $10,000 to $90,000) are randomly revealed at each casino, one at a time, until the total reaches at least $50,000. So casinos will likely have differing amounts of money. Each one is scored at the end of a round. This is simply a majority rule. The player with the most dice on a tile (the numbers on the dice don't matter) win the highest money card at that tile. Second place gets the next highest, and so on, until all money cards are gone. Ties are the important part of scoring that really make a difference.

Nice Lite game, Fun, easy to learn and easy to play. This is no mind bender or push over but fits the bill when relaxing over thinking is the goal.

This is quick, fast game that is great for quick good time. We particularly like to play it with our kids because the element of chance is high enough to give the young ones a chance to win, but there is enough strategy to keep the adults interested. Plus, it is fast enough to work in a quick game at the last second before bedtime.

I had a friend come over and break out this game,
...and to our surprise ...we loved it.

I am not a big fan of the city of Las Vegas, and the theme does not attract me. However, the tactile dice and the "push-your-luck" game-play all works so well, that there is no denying this is a huge winner. From the price point, to the colorful art on the diamond shaped tiles, the game is a success.

I can see how many hobby board gamers, aren't going to like Las Vegas because there isn't enough "meat" or complexity to this. However, keep in mind, this is a simple "filler" game that your grandma would love. The rules are fairly straight-forward and easy enough for a 10 year old to learn.

The dice do seem a bit small, but this point isn't a "deal breaker". Also, the game should have included more dice so you could play 6 or even 8 players. With that said, all you need to include more players, is a extra set of eight d6's (but 14mm is a difficult size dice to find). I also would of like there to be more "variants" in the rules to spice it up and change some things.

All in all.... this game a huge winner for any family.

Go buy Las Vegas today, you'll love it!

I had played this game a couple of times before buying it. I wanted to have it in my collection as a quick filler game to play when there was not enough time for a more serious game. It is deceptive, there is more strategy than is obvious when reading the rules. This is a game that can also be enjoyed by non-traditional gaming friends, as it is not rules-intensive.

I bought this game so that our family/friends would have a quicker but still thoughtful game to play when we aren't ready for something that takes hours on end like the rest of our games (Think Arkham Horror et al., Descent, etc.) We modified the rules slightly to make each round start with more money that way the last rounds are really able to even the odds. This game ends up being loud and fun with all of the random dice rolls and each persons unique strategies for playing the game. Good for lots of age groups.

I was introduced to this game by a family member, and was hooked upon the first play. Everyone whom I've played it with has loved it as much. This game is great for casual gamers and even for people who don't consider themselves gamers at all. It is easy to learn and only requires people to roll dice and pick a number. The best part is that the game has the potential to completely turn on a single dice roll. It takes strategy and planning in the early part of a round, but then all bets are off as your last few dice may end up at a place you and your fellow players never expected. This is the most rewarding part of the game to me. I highly recommend this as a casual party game.
