I have done 100's of puzzles and again Ravenburger puzzles excel in quality. Each peice is beautiful and well defined. All that is needed now are more puzzles between 2000 and 9000 peices.

Ravensburger puzzles are not cheap, but I like them because they are good quality -- how they look, their durability, and fun. The pieces lock well enough that you can pick up completed sections of the puzzle carefully without pieces falling out. The different color themes in this puzzle are good in helping you sort out what piece goes where. The background still takes a very long time.

I did run into a problem. This puzzle comes in two bags, each with half the puzzle. I did one half, and when I went to open the bag to start the other half, I discovered it was another copy of the same half! Obviously a defect in the one I got. But I contacted Ravensburger and they replaced the puzzle pronto. So, I am a happy customer.

The two halves (4500 pieces each) comes wrapped separately in one box. Unfortunately there is no way of knowing if the two halves actually are matching. I assembled one half, glued it to my wall. This took me several weeks! Started the second half when about halfway through I realized that the two halves do not interlock!!! Almost got a heartattack! The Seller and Amazon are very helpful but this is definitely a manufacturing defect so they put me in contact with Ravensburger. Now I have to send some code from the box and prove that the problem with the puzzle is a manufacturing defect. Then maybe they will replace it. Well, thanks for nothing Ravensburger! I want the matching half of the puzzle that are already up on my wall! How can I be certain that the replacement puzzle isn't a dud either? What am I supposed to do with the already assembled 4500 pieces that are on my wall? I am very disappointed and frustrated with Ravensburger! What a fiasco!

Product came on time. Durable. Don't know when I'll get around to actually doing this puzzle--it's pretty much bigger than my apartment living room right now--but I look forward to doing so just the same. : )
