I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but my 7 year old LOVES mazes, so I had to give it a try.

Box is metal, much nicer than most of the pressed cardboard things that games almost invariably use.

Play is quite simple, but playING can be a challenge. You push one tile into the board from an edge, which slides the entire row down one piece, changing the maze at every turn. Your object is to reach certain items (decided by the randomness of the cards you have), so as you and your opponent move, your path is constantly changing - sometimes for good, sometimes for bad.

It was very enjoyable to play both for myself, as well as my 7 year old son. And with the randomness of the mazes, it's not like the kids can just memorize the way and go quicker next time.

Great concept, and great execution. Very sturdy board, the pieces are also very sturdy and hold up well to kids play.

Easy to play, but encourages strategic thinking. Good for almost all ages. Can play in a fairly short amount of time.

The Anniversary Edition of this game is fantastic and perfect for our 6 & 9 year-old daughters!
The pros are:
- High-quality pieces
- Anniversary tin
- Tons of replay value
- Length of play can be adapted depending on how many cards you deal
- The new anniversary tiles (special moves on the back) adds a new element and is optional
- Excellent strategy game for kids and adults
- Game play keeps adults interested
- Simple enough for kids to play on their own & with friends.

The cons are:
- Not enough games like this on the market!

Our Kindergartener and First-grader LOVE this game. Their visiting grandmother (the long-time elementary school teacher and then principal) was amazed at how it taught the kids to think in terms of not just the next move, but two and even three moves ahead.

It is a fun game for all ages. It is durably constructed and doesn't have the issue of "too many pieces" (like most pre-school toys). It also has additional levels of difficulty to add on as the kids get older.

We love it!

I bought this game because I remember playing it as a kid. It is fantastic! The rules are very simple and a game takes about 30 minutes to play. It's a great, light hearted game to play with friends and family.

This game is easy enough to learn that anyone is able to play it. There is enough tactical gameplay that adults can enjoy it. I have played this with my wife multiple times, and we both love it.

The way the instruction book says to play is that each player has a stack of cards, and their goal is to get all the items on the cards in their stack and then get back to their starting point. One variation that we like is laying out several cards (we do 4 cards per player) face up in a row. The card farthest left if the first card. No one may pick up the object on the second card until someone has picked up the object on the first card. When the first object is picked up, the player who got it takes the card and the next item is up for grabs. The first person to get 4 items and get back to their starting location wins.

I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a simple and fun game to play. The mechanic of moving tiles to rearrange the maze is brilliant. Thoughtful placement of tiles on your turn is required lest you sabotage your own opportunities. But that is part of the fun, taxing your spatial perception to advance your position and/or block your opponent's plans. It plays fairly fast and finishes in thirty to forty-five minutes. Game components are well made. The board, tiles, and playing pieces are sturdy. The objective cards are on the thin side and may show signs of wear quickly with younger players. Overall it is an excellent addition to any game cabinet of the young or old.

We love finding games that we can all play together and everyone has the possibility to win. This game is perfect for children with varied ages. One child can even play alone and it's still fun!
The board (maze) is constantly moving. Each player is racing to find all their pieces and return to the their starting square. Even the best strategies can fail with this game.
