It took me about two-three weeks to finish it. Not much educational, but it helps developing logic.

Pieces match perfectly!

Somewhat had troubles finishing black areas of the puzzle (you have them in every corner of the puzzle).

It would be helpful if there is a larger picture of the puzzle (how it will look completed) - that would help with assembling the forest around the castle.

But overall, this puzzle is manageable, and the quality of the picture and the pieces are amazing.

I highly recommend this puzzle.

This puzzle is quite a challenge. Not for the beginner. Yet not impossible. Its tricky and it has challenged me beyond any puzzle that I've done. The picture is beautiful and I know I will feel quite accomplished when I've finished it.

I had a good time putting this puzzle togehter. It is a moderately challenging puzzle especially the sky, mountains and the forest areas of it. Took me about a week of spending a couple hours a day to put this together. THe only thing I didn't like is the pieces don't lock together so it's hard to move a fixed piece to a different work area.

This 1530 piece puzzle was the first either my wife or I had done in decades. This was also the largest puzzle I ever remember doing. The pieces are cut with great accuracy. The dark areas were a little hard to sort out but we completed it in 5 weeks.

This is the first 1500 piece puzzle we have attempted. Ravensburger is a wonderful puzzle company with high quality pieces. If you are used to the 1000 piece level of puzzles, you will be surprized how much longer it takes to complete a puzzle with only 500 more pieces. We took three weeks to finish. There is a 1000 piece version of this castle and if we had it to do over, we would have gotten that level. The best experience we recieved from this puzzle is finding out that 1000 pieces is about our limit to have fun without becoming bored. There were several times we almost gave up on the dark areas of this one. We have purchased many puzzles from Amazon and of the several puzzle companies represented, Ravensburger has the highest level of consistant quality.

I was a little hesitated buying this one when I saw one review says it's a bit challenging and "not for beginners", but I decided to give it a try since the castle is one of my dream places in the world. Turns out it's a great buy and provides lots of fun from start to finish. It's one of the few games my parents(aged 65)really enjoyed and were totally drawn to it for 2 weeks!Yet it's their very first jigsaw puzzle game! My husband and myself enjoyed it too, although sometimes one did get frustrated by the dark leaves, all-look-the-same greens and yellows that surround the castle. Indeed it is a good color lesson too if you insist on "educational value".

What a beautiful picture for a puzzle! Like other reviewers I agree that the pieces are cut well.

My only complaint about this product is that when I reached the end, there was a piece missing. I searched and searched everywhere for it, but couldn't find it. This was not the fault of the product, but if you lose a piece, don't order another puzzle because they press out the pieces in different patterns. You won't be able to fit the lost piece in.

I purchased this puzzle as a Christmas gift for the family. On a day the snow was falling and we were all trapped in the house, we started this puzzle. All of us around the table, working the edges first and then our way in. It was a terrific family day. I highly recommend Ravensberger puzzles, we own several. The pieces are sturdy, the color and designs are beautiful and puzzles are a chance for families to work together. Great fun!

I enjoyed putting this puzzle together -- BUT was very disappointed that TWO PIECES were missing. There is no way that I lost these two pieces as I kept the puzzle confined to a large board in the dining room and it (the puzzle) was never moved. The number of almost indistinguishable black pieces proved a tad tedious but the distraction from daily stresses that the puzzle provided made the process of putting it together ultimately worthwhile.

I own 4 Ravensburger puzzles and the pictures are gorgeous. They are a real challenge but very engaging and a lot of fun to put together.
