My 3 year old son loves Thomas and Friends so this is a great puzzle for him. The different "time of day" light/dark are good for helping him to learn the difference and helps him to complete the puzzle.

My three kids ages 5, 4 and 2 all love Thomas. While our 2 year old is too young for the puzzle, our two older ones love to put it together and our five-year-old daughter is very interested in using it to tell time. We talk about how the pictures show what goes on during the day on Sodor and what WE do at those times. Since my daughter knows how to count by 5s, she quickly picked up reading the minute hand. At first I would set the hands and ask her to tell me what time it was. After doing well with this, she then would move the hands to a time I would say. Such a great idea to incorporate clock hands with a puzzle themed to something they love!

My boys have loved playing with this puzzle. The pieces are durable and fit together easily. My 2.5 year old is able to do this puzzle on his own, and gets so excited when he finishes it - even though he's done it numerous times now. The picture is clear and the moving clock hands add to the fun. I'll definitely buy other Ravensburger puzzles.

My 2.5yr old really enjoys this puzzle. She likes trains, even though she didn't really know anything about Thomas. Even though it has 60 pieces, it is still relatively easy to put together. The central clock and the clearly separated engines work well for younger kids.

As with all Ravensburger puzzles, the pieces are sturdy. They fit together well without any vague shapes (pieces that could be forced into the wrong position).

My 3 year old son (who loves Thomas and recently, puzzles)loves this puzzle. He is a puzzle nut lately and this is one of his faves, probably because it is so sturdy (very thick, dense cardboard) and also pretty and the clock just adds to the fun.
