This review is from: Pandit Ravi Shankar (Audio CD)
I am glad I bought this CD after reading a review from Aditya. I have recently started collecting Ravi Shankar's remastered music from the 60s. Yes, it is a very distinctive CD. The Sitar almost sounds like the Veena and the style is certainly more meditative, introspective and soothing. Not for listeners who are looking for fireworks. I think I am ready to start listening to the Veena now !
