This was the first raw recipe book I found that did not intimidate me. Most of the recipes are quick and easy to make, and the book is an easy read and well designed. The raw recipes balance great taste with healthy ingredients, so it's going to be one I'll be using regularly. A welcome addition to my raw food library! Top marks

I bought this book in preparation for my usual January Detox but couldn't resist trying out a couple of the recipes in advance. Some of the ingredients were a bit challenging in the UK in mid-winter, but I managed to find what I needed in Wholefoods in Richmond! First I tried the Hemp Berry Smoothie, which was not only a recipe but also a sentence I had never heard before. It's great and I'll definitely be doing that one again after New Year. The Caramel Cashew Waffles are probably one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten, so that's set to be a family favourite in my house! There are around a hundred recipes in this book, which is great value and gives great variety, since the problem with any new nutrition regime is usally the lack of choice. That definitely won't be a problem with Raw Foods! Love it, highly recommended!

It amazes me that we do not take our cue from nature, animals do not cook their food and they eat raw. It is actually the healthiest diet for us humans to eat as well. A plant has its highest potential of nutrient when it is taken directly from the plant that it is growing on; over time it starts to lose some of its nutrition.
I really enjoyed the recipes offered in the book. I found some to be a little expensive for just a small amount like a pint, for instance the almond butter. Sadly, organic food is more expensive than conventional food treated with pesticides and other chemicals, so cost has to be taken into consideration.
One recipe I really liked was the grape and spinach smoothie, the combination sounded interesting, and highly nutritional.
Anyone who enjoys a vegan lifestyle will really enjoy this book and the great recipes in it. I will keep this book for future reference.

Don't waste money on diet plans and meetings . If you want to change your attitude about food, just read the intro of any raw food book and learn their techniques for not going around hungry. Diet problems solved.

This book is an excellent resource for healthy living. I had no idea how healthy raw foods were. these recipes are unique and include incorporating sprouts and seeds into the mix of ingredients. I have tried one of the recipes which I modified a little because I did not have all of the ingredients. The result is outstanding. Thanks for this information which is new to me. Thanks*****
