5.0 out of 5 stars Making Raw Food for Weight Loss Seem Easy!
I recommend this short and sweet phamplet for anyone that is trying to lose weight with raw foods. Angela has lost 160 pounds using the information here, and tells her story in an easy to understand way that makes using raw and living foods for weight loss look simple. And c'mon, it's that what we all really want?

I know that when I first began on my raw food...

5.0 out of 5 stars Making Raw Food for Weight Loss Seem Easy!, May 16, 2009
This review is from: Raw Reform: How to Go Raw for Weight Loss - An Introduction for Overeaters - Booklet (Raw Reform, Volume 1) (Paperback)
I recommend this short and sweet phamplet for anyone that is trying to lose weight with raw foods. Angela has lost 160 pounds using the information here, and tells her story in an easy to understand way that makes using raw and living foods for weight loss look simple. And c'mon, it's that what we all really want?

I know that when I first began on my raw food journey, this was one of the stories I went back to time and again because it didn't include recipes that took days to make, or overly complicated theories of why raw food works for weight loss and healing.

It is a tremendous success story, filled with tips and strategies for losing weight with raw and living foods. The proof is in the pudding with this author.

I also recently got her softbound book, Raw Emotions, and it's fabulous, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple and brilliant, May 17, 2009
This review is from: Raw Reform: How to Go Raw for Weight Loss - An Introduction for Overeaters - Booklet (Raw Reform, Volume 1) (Paperback)
This brilliant little book shows that it is possible to overcome morbid obesity (and many other health problems, I might add from personal experience), by doing something as simple as turning off the stove and eating a vegan diet as it was meant to be eaten...raw, fresh, and delicious.

Angela Stokes is an inspiration. If only everyone could have a copy of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!, May 16, 2009
This review is from: Raw Reform: How to Go Raw for Weight Loss - An Introduction for Overeaters - Booklet (Raw Reform, Volume 1) (Paperback)
Angela Stokes shares from her heart and her experience. There is no glossy show or fancy pantsy stuff ---> just facts and results with a great dose of humility and encouragement.

Weight loss is rarely a one person job.
If you've been trying to do it by yourself, how's that been workin' for ya?
Angela offers support...support that we need.

Raw Food and weight loss can go hand in hand and usually do.
But how to keep off the weight?
And do it in a way that's good for your long-term health?

That takes someone who's arrived on the other side.
I, as one of thousands who have read her book and love Angela, encourage you to consider the possibility of altering your weight loss journey forever by reading: How to Go Raw For Weightloss, by Angela Stokes

I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in improving and upgrading their diet to live a more healthy lifestyle, most particularly one including raw foods. Ms. Stokes encouraged me by her success and words to move closer to this type of a lifestyle, which I did, with success. As we know, such dramatic change, from an everyday American diet, takes will power and encouragement, especially at the start. It becomes easier afterwards as you reap the benefits of feeling and looking better! If someone's words can do that for a person, WOW! Thank you for sharing your experience with us all!

1.0 out of 5 stars Pamphlet? They weren't kidding, May 13, 2008
This review is from: Raw Reform: How to Go Raw for Weight Loss - An Introduction for Overeaters - Booklet (Raw Reform, Volume 1) (Paperback)
This tiny effort reads like a teen trying to sound authoritative and lacks so much I don't know where to begin. It is basically a blog (barf) of one formerly obese girl's experience of drinking 2 quarts of juice a day for 90 days. If that would be helpful, by all means plunk down your money. But what's with the extremes? People like this construct a belief system and act as if they'd discovered fire from one lousy experience. If you truly want to learn something about raw foods, juicing and such stick with the likes of Norman Walker, Ann Wigmore, Paul Bragg and other's free of that over-the-edge "new convert" sheen. I recommend sticking with those have years of actual study and knowledge from decades of experience under their belts who actually knew what they were talking about.
