It's a crime this is not in print in the US, and apparently unavailable as an import.
Responsible for at least one-third of the soul found in Derek and the Dominoes (Duane and Eric being the other 2/3) Bobby Whitlock is an American master of blues and r&b-based rock. "Raw Velvet" is an excellent example of his range, with blues rock workouts and soulful ballads providing a perfect balance across what was originally 2 sides of vinyl. Look for this and "One of A Kind" with guest performances from members of the Allman Bros. |
