Gold Glove Gamer First Baseman's Mitt (GGFBG)
Featuring pro soft leather, pro lace, and moldable padding, the Rawlings Gold Glove Gamer First Baseman's mitt is ideal for first basemen.The 12.5 inch first baseman's mitt features the Single Post double bar web, which gives it a stretchable web and forms a snug secure pocket which allows the ball to stick and not bounce. This glove also features a Double Ca-Thug style which allows you to mold the end of the glove to scoop the ball. With its 12.5 inch pattern, this glove is designed for the first base position. The tumbled Pro Soft leather shell and full grain leather finger linings provide comfort and durability, while the moldable padding in the palm reduces ball impact to your hand. This glove is game ready with 90% factory break-in.
Gold Glove Leather
Rawlings’ famous Gold Glove leather is cut from a soft cowhide that enables the glove to break in quickly and easily while still maintaining necessary durability to hold its shape. Tanned at the perfect temperature for just the right amount of time, Gold Glove series ball gloves instantly have a softer, game-ready feel, allowing players to take a Gold Glove Series model straight from the shelf to the field.
Enhanced by Poron XRD
This glove is enhanced by lightweight Poron XRD palm pads to absorb and dissipate up to 90% of energy when impacted at high speeds, resulting in more than 10% impact reduction when compared to traditional rubber based palm pads.
Single Post Web
One strip of leather forms this web, creating an easier close and quicker break-in.

Choosing a Glove
|Position ||Glove Characteristics |
|Catcher||These gloves have no finger channels, with heavy palm padding and overall reinforcements to reduce the sting of repeatedly catching pitchers' throws. |
|Pitcher (Infield)||Choose a mid-size glove that's easy to control. Closed and Modified Trap webs work best at this position, letting you disguise your pitches by hiding the ball.|
|First Base (Infield)||These gloves also lacks finger channels, but with less padding that a catcher's mitt, with added length to help catch infield throws and shallow pocket, enabling quick ball retrieval. |
|Second Base (Infield)||Choose a smaller glove with a shallow pocket, balancing control with the need to make quick throws. |
|Short Stop (Infield)||Go to a smaller/mid size glove with a shallow pocket for ground balls and quick throws.|
|Third Base (Infield)||Choose a medium to large glove with a shallow to mid-size pocket for maximum catching power. |
|Outfield||Choose a longer glove to provide extended reach, with a deep pocket to handle high-lofting balls. |
