Maybe this should be called "Junk"?,

Right after I attached this device to the mic stand the screen falls out... ahem... So I put the screen back in and attempt to tighten the circular screen holder... I abandoned this and, well, I'm using electrical TAPE now to keep the screen in place. What's more is that the TRIAL TRACK I recorded using this has a really nice popping "P" sound to it, which I edited out of course, but, the rest of the "live" track was somewhat dissappointing with this, as there were "B" sounds popping up too. It seems to be a cheap piece of junk. I don't see myself buying another Raxxess product for some time, b/c this one was just so terrible. But others may have a had a better experience with this product or company.The one redeeming value may be the way it attaches: there is a bar that screws onto the mic stand off the end of which comes the "goose neck" of the screen to place in front of the mic as desired (if you can imagine a sort of "L-shape", at the top of the L is the mic and the end of the bar is where the screen's adjustable neck attaches). So I give it 2 stars because this attachment method works, and it might just be a fluke of my particular filter, but really... I am pretty unhappy with it overall, the use of tape, and its weak filtering capability.

Recently me and some of my peers decided to start putting down tracks and recording. After writing and recording our first song we realized how much of a hassle could probably be avoided if we bothered purchasing a pop filter. Just as a shot in the dark i decided to try out this one. The results? The RaXXess does exactly what it promises to. By effectively limiting the amount of air that can reach your microphone, this pop filter is very good at pretty much eliminating pops, click, and even other ambient noises. Keep in mind tho that I'm just a starting musician so I'm unaware of how this pop filter stands up to others...
