5.0 out of 5 stars Love them!
I bought mine at Nordys too. They say "Made in China" which is a bummer. But, I love mine. I got the brown. They are very chic. I have worn Ray-Ban Aviators since the '70s. My first pair was given to me by my Dad. I have continued to wear them. Unfortunately I lost my last pair. I recently purchased these and I think the wrap style is so much more flattering. Plus, I...

I have the Polarized versions and they are made in Italy. These glasses are very light and I forget they are there while this may be a positive for most its a negative for me. I find them annoying as I prefer gray neutral lens. Mine are polarized brown and get little face time. The lens are plastic. I also have the RB 3025 Silver mirror GSM classic aviators in Polarized...

Plus, I prefer classic Ray-Bans to those gaudy, designer sunglasses...like CC, Dior or Gucci. Yuck! Get real! (I wear the Wayfarers too!)

You can find fakes or copies of these sunglasses. However, you will not find the quality in product and how clear sight is with this brand. Over satisfied!

Reading the "Made in China" reviews, I confess that I was a little afraid, but after I received the sun glasses I'm satisfied. It's realy "Made in China". I read other reviews and searched in the internet and Luxotica does have a plant in China that possibly produce these sunglasses. I concluded, due to the high built quality, that the glasses are not fake.

In the past I unfortunately have bought a fake one from a not realiable source. I clearly can diferenciate this one from the fake one I bought in the past.

Very happy with the whole purchase including delivery. I was a bit concerned when I found they were made in China, however I found out that this particular model was manufactured in China by Luxottica (Ray Ban's parent company).

5.0 out of 5 stars Ray-bans now made in China, July 28, 2010
Last week I bought a pair of ray-ban aviator sunglasses from Eyewear Nation for $103.00 no tax, no shipping charge. When I received them, they read made in China on the frame. My girlfriend brought up a good point in that if they were going to go through the trouble to put the ray-ban logo on the lens in an effort to make them as real as possible, they could just as easily put "made in Italy" on the frame. It doesn't make any sense at all and I think she brought up a good point.
I concluded that ray-bans do manufacture outside of Italy and that these are authentic ray-bans that were made in China that I have.

I have the Polarized versions and they are made in Italy. These glasses are very light and I forget they are there while this may be a positive for most its a negative for me. I find them annoying as I prefer gray neutral lens. Mine are polarized brown and get little face time. The lens are plastic. I also have the RB 3025 Silver mirror GSM classic aviators in Polarized form and those are by far the best raybans ever followed by the RB 5024 black Classic Wayfarers, then Maui Jim Sunsets. The bubble wrap comes in handy as clasic aviators let in a lot of side glare. When the sunset or sunrise is to my right or left I throw these on if the suns overhead I wear the classics. I drive 150 miles every day so I need polarized lens.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little big but worth it, August 7, 2010
I bought the gray gradient 37 ones. They are a bit big even for my somewhat large face (these are fashion sunglasses) and a bit curved (gives a minor fish-eye look) but they are great driving or active sunglasses.

I bought these because they were the only decent pair with thin handles. I was getting a sunburn that darkened parts of my face so I was looking for thin frames and this was the best one I could find.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Fake!, August 22, 2010
If you visit the Ray Ban website, it's actually written that it is design in Italy and not made in Italy. A lot of products are now manufactured in third world countries because it's a lot cheaper. Some really expensive products are manufactured in China or other countries but is assembled in Paris, London, Italy, etc. so that they can justify the price tag that people are paying...which is ridiculous! I bought my Ray Ban at Lord and Taylor which also said made in China.
