Ray Caesar is Awesome,
This review is from: Ray Caesar Art Collection: Volume One (Hardcover)
Innovative, and evocative work. My favorite Comtemporary artist. And to compare him to Mark Ryden is like comparing apples oranges.

You're right... He's Not Ryden,

This review is from: Ray Caesar Art Collection: Volume One (Hardcover)
In response to the other review, Ray Caesar wasn't spawned by Mark Ryden. He is a bold and original artist in his own right. No, he doesn't work with paint and brush for the most part. He uses 3-D animation as a tool for creating fine art, and I have to say that he succeeds. 3-D animation is like a brush or a pencil - it's merely a tool, and that tool depends largely upon the artist wielding it. In the hands and vision of Ray Caesar, it has been used to great effect. And of course this response in no way intends to take anything away from Mark Ryden who is a great artist. I only wish to state that so is Ray Caesar.
