This review is from: Ray Charles: The Definitive Anthology - Trilogy (Audio CD)
this CD, issued in Argentina, presents an image of Ray Charles' career from the perspective of a foreign fan, who does not have access to the depth of his discography; there is no chronology in the arrangements, but rather they are organized in 3 categories: CD1- the immortal classics, CD2 - the great ballads, and CD3 - the rhythm and blues.
And... the organization works! This CD supplants all the "Best of", and as such, is an excellent buy.

A Gem Well Received!,

This review is from: Ray Charles: The Definitive Anthology - Trilogy (Audio CD)
Please beleive that I had concerns when ordering this cd but after listening to it I realized that Ray Charles was a man with many problems. I feel his way of relating his own problems was in his music and he sure had a way of doing it. His music seems to transcend all venues which was ahead of his times. Please take the time to allow the stylings of these songs take you away.
