"Professional Oscillating Sprinkler????" NO WAY!

After only about 4 months of use, watering every 10 days or so, the sprinkler stopped oscillating. Sometimes it would start again, but mostly it would just stay in one position. If you would gently push the arm in the direction it was trying to go it, would oscillate for a few more cycles. But then it was right back to stuck in one place. This is VERY poor results for a PROFESSIONAL OSCILLATING Sprinkler. In fact, unless you want to water just one very thin strip of lawn, it really isn't much of a sprinkler.

Fortunately, this sprinkler is marketed as having a "lifetime guaranteed satisfaction policy". I contacted "support at RayPadulaonline.com" TWICE via email. Each email was very quickly acknowledged by an automated response indicating they HAD received my email and would receive a reply within 2 working days. Other than this automated response, I have been completely ignored! I included the model of the sprinkler, the seller (Amazon), the purchase date, and my contact information. There is no reason they would not be able to contact me, other than they chose not to try.

If you purchase from this company, you apparently are COMPLETELY ON YOUR OWN! Their warranty/guarantee seems to be meaningless.

I am going to continue to seek some kind of satisfaction. But at this moment it appears that warning others is about all the success I'm going to have. Frankly, I expect better control from Amazon.com. If AMAZON isn't willing to screen their sellers more thoroughly, then they aren't maintaining their part of the business relationship very well, either.

The sprinkler works well as long as you're at full water pressure. Unless the faucet is opened all the way, it gets stuck in certain positions unless the faucet is opened all the way. It'd be fine if you have a large yard, but mine is pretty small so I end up wasting water and watering the neighbor's weeds in the process of watering my own garden.

I knowingly took a gamble getting this... I've read the other reviews, and on the whole, it appears Ray Padula products are generally panned. Why did I take a gamble? Perhaps I'm a masochist. If so, I'm a disappointed masochist.

The sprinkler has worked great! No leakage where the host connects, all of the nozzles work just fine, there are a ton of settings to get the sweeping arm motion just how you want it... Maybe I was just lucky, but I don't have any complaints about the thing at all. We'll see how it holds up over the summer.

The nozzel is shallow-so I couldn't get a good connection on my garden hose. Because of the shallow conncection, I couldn't modify with a deeper washer. Aside from the leaking, somehow the sprinkler mechanism got stuck and now sweeps toward the base of the unit instead towards the top. I have been unable cycle the cam so that it will resolve. I used the unit twice. Do not buy this product.
