Short lived, but an exceptional CD none-the-less!!!, October 4, 2001

To start off with... I really got this CD because of the duet with Olivia Newton-John ("Falling"). It's a great ballad and should have been a hit. This album is full of great contemporary country that ranks right up there with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Tracy Byrd and Colin Raye. It's a real shame that this album was sorely overlooked. Some of the standout tracks include: "Gettin' Ready for the World to End", "Baby Blue", "Hello Love" and "Tangled Up in Love". The ballads have a sweet autumnal sound to them and they evoke such wonderful sentiment and feelings. The "dancefloor" fillers are clever good-time numbers that will definitely keep your toes tappin'. Do yourself a favour and pick this one up. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent perfomances and songwriting on this disc.
I really wish there had been a follow-up.
