this game has realistic graphics and it is addictive
i know this game is not released yet, but i got too sample it.
unlike previous rayman games, this will have internet capability but you must buy a modem for the gamecube.
ok lets get into the actual game

FURIOUS FOOTRACES:
Take risks, use tricks, and trip up opponents as you sprint, slide, climb, and helicopter through 12 courses in an all out rush for the checkered flag.

BLISTERING BATTLES:
Represent through 12 gladiator-style arenas in a frenzied firefight with power-ups, traps and special ammo to get the most lums & reign victorious.

UNLEASH NEW CHARACTERS:
Choose from 8 playable characters including the cast of Rayman 2 and all new characters.

MULTIPLAYER MADNESS:
Compete with the PlayStation 2 multi-tap for intense 4-player split-screen action.

TRUE REWARDING SYSTEM:
Unlock TRUE rewards such as Bonus Levels, Additional Modes, Character Skins, and Bonus Characters by competing for the best times and highest scores.

i truly recommend this game to anyone who has a gamecube

There are four different modes of gameplay. Two of them are racing modes: Obstacle Course & Time Attack. Two of them are battle modes: Total Fight & Freeze Combat.

Here is a breakdown of each mode:

Obstacle Course - You try and make your way through obstacles and get to the finish line before your opponent(s).

Time Attack - You try and build a 6 second lead against your opponent(s) while running through the obstacle courses.

Total Fight - You try and hit your opponent(s) more than they hit you.

Freeze Combat - You try and collect colored orbs while keeping your opponent(s) away by freezing them.

You play through 12 different levels for each mode. After you beat the extremely easy Beginner Circuit, then you move on to the pretty easy Pro Circuit. After you beat that, a final Challenge Circuit is unlocked where you have to go through all of the levels in all of the modes and beat Dark Rayman at them. You can also unlock bonus characters and four bonus race tracks (which look AWFUL!)

Needless to say, I was not impressed with this game. Racing around on foot with Rayman is terribly slow and you get frustrated watching him poke along. A better sense of speed would have made things more exciting. The difficulty of this game is also skewed more toward the 8-12 year old group and older gamers will find it way too simple.

This game does have a Multiplayer Mode but you and your friends will definitely be bored of it within an hour of playing. This game is only recommended for younger players.

As fun characters you battle and race to get new skins, win championships, and feel the thrill of victory. There's not much more to it but it sure is fun!

I just loved this game. The graphics are good( from 1-5 it's a 3.5), it has lots of characters to choose from (and you can chooose how your character will be dressed!), and the gameplay is great! Both battle mode and race mode are REALLY fun,the levels are ingenious (yup, there's shortcuts!) and the game in general is great great GREAT!!
This game is more and less like Rayman M, but the difference is that Rayman M is for PC and has less characters, WAY less clothes or outfits to choose from, and less fun. If you have a gamecube and can't decide between Rayman M and Rayman Arena just know this: They're NOT the same! They're may be alike, but Rayman Arena is WAY better! Don't hesitate and buy Rayman Arena today!

Get kicked into Raymans now crazy world as you fight all sorts of characters. A young fairy named Tily, a blue thing called Globox, a purple thing(the evil form of the Globox)called (duh) dark Globox, the imfamous slaver razorbeard, razorbeard's wife (duh again) Mrs.razorbeard, the teensies, a couple of robots and the hero: Rayman! All the butt whup in one small game, yeah the best part is clobbering your friend but to get some hidden characters I guess you need to do single player. The real downside is the cp players know the shortcuts in race and in Freeze battle they know where the lums apear. I recommend this game, but, it can get *sigh* depressing.

This game is NOT worth the $... bucks...Its dark and BORING. Rent it first. LAME GAME. the reason you see 3 stars is because the same person rated it 2-3 times. I will give it one star for the graphics and the price but IM BETTING IT WILL GO FOR $... soon

i mean what is more original than a guy with no joints, a frog thing, and a evil robot and his wife(secret character)shooting yellow balls at eachother and racing?

so if you want the game of the year... go play Halo, but if you want an original... good time, play this

The violence is no problem, its fun, great and it's a nice game. buy it now.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You

This game has been my favorite for ages. I would love playing it with my brother and cousins. It goes from racing to dueling to lum hunting. Awesome!
